Well, this is a stupid opinion! Sometimes we are too inclined and stubborn to realise that our position on something might be totally wrong and it would be prudent to at least consider the other party’s opinion on the specific matter at least if its a matter regarding something that I do not have much information on. As human beings are considered to be social animals one person cannot be the bearer of all information in the world—though the internet is available at our fingertips. Thus, it is a good things for everyone to give each other the benefit of the doubt and give serious thought to others’ ideas and positions on various things. Let’s learn from each other rather than trying to process all information by ourselves. This will make possible the creation of better and caring societies where a marketplace of ideas can truly thrive and allow for the best ideas to come on top while allowing society as a whole to discard bad ideas.
